If you believe that Iran (actually the mullahs) will abolish stoning or hand amputation, then I have some land for sale really cheap. Iran is like the old Soviet Union. The law can say anything, but Sharia prevails. As Iran is ruled by Islamic nutjobs, the criminal cases can be moved to Islamic religious courts for Islamic justice. No need to bother the “legal” system that the people wrote. Sharia prevails over man law anyway, according to these perverts. So, expect to see the whitewash story that the changes are made to the law (man-made law), but expect to see Sharia courts to pick up the slack and hand out judgements like stoning and hand amputations. No change in any way is what I expect. BTW: The land is cheap and near Miami, FL.

Yes, Sammy, those who are NOT Muslim, but live in Iran under these Islamic nutjobs, will be held to Sharia law. Whether we believe, as you worte “that is not of that religion should not be judged by a Sharia tribunal” is immaterial. The Sharia courts are the courts under Islam. Islam is the basis for the nation of Iran now. Until the mullahs lose power, unfortunately innocent Iranians will suffer under Sharia. Sharia requires non-Muslims to accept dhimi status which imposes Sharia over them. If they reject dhimi status, then Islam requires the non-Muslim to be killed. Ugly, yes. Debateable? No, not under Islam/Sharia law. Your freedom of thought/freedom of choice means nothing to them. You, as would I, would sooner or later be executed for crimes under Sharia. One of the crimes would most likely be rejection of Islam. I know I do and would. No religion is not an option. Either you become a Muslim or die.
