Grace Mugabe, the wife of Zimbabean President Robert Mugabe, is living it up in Malaysia while the general population are suffering an economic crisis.
Grace Mugabe is believed to have drawn $92,000 (U.S. dollars) from the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe to fund the trip.
A similar amount was withdrawn by Mrs Mugabe in June when she went on a shopping spree while on a visit with her husband to attend a UN food and agriculture conference.
Mugabe will join his wife and their four children in Malaysia on Monday.
A government spokesman said he was not going on holiday but was taking time to reflect on the crisis facing Zimbabwe.
Aside from economic woes, a cholera epidemic is sweeping the country and has already killed 1,700 people.
Mugabe and several officers in the Zimbabwean military, as well as Reserve Bank governor Gideon Gono, have reportedly transferred most of their assets to Malaysian and Singapore.

Wife of Mugabe withdraws Reserve Bank funds for luxury holidaythis is peanuts in confront what other world leaders have taken from other world governments for their personal use.
In Argentina I believe that the president has purchased so many dresses that she never wears the same one twice, and they say that she changes clothes 3 and 4 times a day, while her people are suffering.
Many world leaders live of the sweat and blood of their citizens, and in some places even the financial institutions rob the saviers of their savings, and then they proclaim bankrupcy.
There should be more severe laws to protect the interests of the public, and those caught stealing, or abusing of public money should be imprisoned for a long, long time.

Disgusting criminalsWhy should Malaysia welcome these disgusting criminals who have offered violence, starvation and bloodshed to their people? The Mugabe regime is one of the nastiest dictatorships in the world. |

Graze takes the cashIt is not the same as Argentina. In Zimbabwe there is no food, hospitals, cholera. Stop this mad man from returning to Zimbabwe. He has raped poor Zimbabwe long enough. If someone sees him abroad, do a citizen arrest for human right violations. Remeber the 50.000 Ndebele killed by Mugabe’s N Korean trained 5th brigade |

Just like BN (or any other party), do you really really think they are there just to help us?
Hmmm I wonder.... |

Malaysia should deny entry to MugabeMugabe and his cronies have been banned from Europe. But Malaysia is giving this bankrupt, murderous regime legitimacy by allowing Mugabe to vacation here. Incredible diplomatic blunder. |

We think that....It doesn’t matter much about the money or should or shouldn’t The wife of the President use the money. We can’t judge just by one way though. A country like zimbabwe need a stable politic in order to cope up with various problem. Besides, their children is studying at Malaysia. This prove that still care about their future. As a third party, we can’t possibly criticizing her act by comparing with Zimbabwe suffering population. As a normal human if we can afford to help, we would help, but of course there’s a limit. |

Mugabe'sMonkey see. Monkey do. Grace feel it’s her right. Robert says Zimbabwe is his.
The law of the jungle prevails in Africa. Those not from Africa or who never lived on the continent will never understand that. But what. To most North Americans Africa is Africa. There is no concept of the African Continent with many African countries on it, like Egypt for example. Ask Mrs. Palin. |

MugabeI can’t wait for the day the Mugabe’s regime gets toppled. I would be very scared if I were either Robert or Grace as we all know how any dictatorship ends. Yes Grace, enjoy those disigner dresses whilst you still can...the end for you and your mass murdering husband is in sight. |

Ashamed To Be MalaysianOMG .. No wonder our Malaysian press is distracting us with stories of atrocities in the Gaza. I am just reminder that 2,200 have died in Zimbabwe due to cholera. That’s definitely much more than the number who have died in the current Israel-Gaza conflict. |

Yes, if Chavez would have given some of his oil money to me, surely I would know what to do with it.
Personally I would not use this money for my benefit, but I would use it to benefit humanity instead, and that would not be simply to give it away to professional organizations who make their living by manipulation charitable money for their benefit first or give it to beggars who are always ready for handouts, and making a profession to live by begging.
But, I would create jobs where these beggars of profession would have to work for their money, and organize a program where they would be able to return to be normal citizens who would pay taxes like all others, and not be a burden upon the collectivity by living through their begging.
I believe that in this planet we must replace all those who do to their bad luck, or by choice resort to begging and spoonge upon others who feel sorry for them and support their begging profession rather that trying to resolve their problem by imputing them in the flow of becoming part of the working society and becoming self sufficient.
I believe that most of the money that is being given to charity sticks in the filthy hands of charitable organizations, and very little or none goes to those in need, and it becomes a vicious circle to keep beggars begging so that charitable organizations receive money to distribute but part of it stays for their personal use, and keeping the beggars begging and begging so more money will keep coming in, and the real problem will never be resolved to stop people from begging.
