Turner Field has upgraded and expanded its MICROS 9700 to include all
concessions and its exclusive Lexus Level. These new installations
supplement the existing MICROS installations at the Chop House, 755 Club,
and the in-seat service.
The upgrade will include over 160 MICROS Keyboard Workstation 4s (KWS
4), the addition of RFID readers, and the introduction of cashless payment
options to Atlanta's baseball fans. The investment in technology
facilitates faster service, allowing fans to see more of the game. Through
the scalability and flexibility of MICROS 9700 HMS, the Braves were able to
leverage its initial investment with MICROS and expand the solution
throughout the stadium, saving both time and money. Using the 9700 Web
Reporting Suite, the Braves management team has access to real-time
business intelligence for all food and beverage outlets, including key
financial metrics and individual menu item sales.
